Character and environment design for worlds that obey real physics.
BFA Animation, Game Art · Physics minor, Astrophysics & Astronomy concentration — DePaul University, Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media
Color temperature is the same scale twice over — it classifies a star's spectral type, and it sets the white balance of a rendered scene. That overlap is the throughline here.
Two disciplines, one throughline
I'm a BFA Animation / Game Art student at DePaul's College of Computing and Digital Media, minoring in Physics with a concentration in Astrophysics and Astronomy — an unusual pairing that shapes how I approach my work. I care as much about why something moves and looks the way it does as I do about making it look good.
My focus is game art — character and environment design, real-time rendering, and building worlds players want to spend time in. My physics background pulls me toward the science side of visual storytelling too: accurate lighting, believable motion, and space-inspired visuals grounded in how light, gravity, and scale actually behave.
I'm always working on personal projects to sharpen my craft, and I'm actively looking for opportunities in game art, animation, or scientific visualization where I can put both sides of my education to use.
